The purpose of this movie challenge is: 1) When I walk into a video store, I always forget what movies I wanted to rent and 2) I have trouble making myself rent movies that I've heard are good and/or important, but seem intimidating or boring. So on 06/19/2000, I printed out a list of the Top 250 movies as voted by Internet Movie Database users and decided that I would see every movie on the list. Why the IMDB top 250? It's just a starting point. I figured I'd start with movies that were popular with the masses (at least the masses who use the IMDB). My next challenge will be based on winners at various film festivals. If a title is red, then you should see it!
